Helping Others

This week I have had several opportunities to help others outside my collegiate community. I volunteered at an elementary school reading to children, I helped fix up a persons house with hopes of receiving his children back, and also volunteered at a high school teaching percussion to kids who just want to learn. All of this just felt good to do as a person. I’ve realized that many people have a hard time just getting out there, but once you actually start the activity of just generously aiding others without any thought of reward and for the fact of just because, it becomes an unconditional emotion of just wow! We all talk about it all the time but actions speak louder than words. There are many people who do it to become apart of an organization, but my question to them is will they continue to do it even after they have hopefully succeeded.
